We traveled to Vietnam with our son (15) and daughter (19). Mai had organized an amazing trip for us. Our guides became friends, were incredibly flexible and forthright. We had really meaningful experiences with them. We had absolutely zero problems which is incredible for a 3 week trip!

I visited Vietnam in September 2007 and used Explore Real Asia as they were recommended by friends who had used them in the past.

From sending my first e-mail and getting a very swift reply, the staff in the office were very good and suggested a super itinerary which included an English speaking guide for the full duration. Having now returned from this wonderful country and experienced the warmth of the friendly people, many of whom do not speak English (Vietnamese is a very complicated language to understand), an English speaking guide is essential!!

Upon arrival into Hanoi I was met by a wonderful guide who escorted us through the airport to a car for a swift transfer to our hotel. This same guide stayed with us during our full stay in Hanoi and could not have been more helpful. She was very thorough and explained in perfect English all the history and places of interest that we were visiting, even taking us off our itinerary to assist us with simple day to day things like visiting banks and post offices which could have been very difficult not understanding the language. Our guide even helped us select meals from the menu at restaurants we had chosen and even assisted us in shops. When we departed for our flight to Da Nang, she passed us on to her colleague who covered this area of the country and he was equally professional. This pattern was repeated for our full itinerary. Our tour was very personalised and we were not herded around with a large group, all the arrangements were just for the two of us. The price was so competitive and worked out much cheaper than most group tours.

The 12 day tour was extremely well arranged and the hotels chosen by Explore Real Asia were all 4 & 5 star and of excellent quality and in the best locations for sightseeing and shopping. As we travelled to the various cities and beach resorts on our itinerary, all of which was arranged by Explore Real Asia, even down to the last detail. The entire experience was fantastic and working in the travel Industry myself for 30 years, I can highly recommend them. It was wonderful to travel with a company who still believe in a very personal service.

I am very much looking forward to returning to Vietnam soon and will definitely use the services of Explore Real Asia for my next trip.
